4140 Armory’s .223 Rem 55gr FMJ boat tail rounds are made in Texas with Military Grade brass from General Dynamics. Our 223 FMJ BT brass is the same brass used in the 5.56 rounds, which have been annealed for additional shoulder strength with tested and validated muzzle velocity of ~3200 FPS. Our powder charge also uses the General Dynamics smokeless ball powder for superior performance trusted by the US Military.
